Project: "First steps towards EU community" (2024-2025 m.)
“The First Steps Towards an Active EU Community.” This is the name of our organization’s first Erasmus+ mobility project. It is an opportunity to actively engage in European adult education activities. We understood that achieving the desired results by operating only at the local level is difficult – a broader, European vision is needed. The Erasmus+ project is an opportunity for us to take a significant step from a local organization to a European one. For us, this is an opportunity for new quality, knowledge, and competencies. For the employees participating in the project, it is a chance to expand their professional competencies and improve their emotional and psychological well-being. These factors lead to improved work quality, diversification of services, and thus, the well-being of our visitors – persons with disabilities. Our visitors have the opportunity to get acquainted with similar European organizations during the project. The Erasmus+ project means new opportunities, new experiences, new knowledge, and skills.

Volunteering at the "Maisto bankas"
We learn that it is good not only to receive but also to give. The visitors of our day center actively volunteer not only during the big “Food Bank” campaigns, helping to collect food products, but also in the warehouses, sorting food products.
